You know how I said that no fish had been caught at the cabin? Well, I stand corrected. My dad caught a huge, gigantic, whopper of a fish. I'm talking something out of a story book. The length of his arm. Without any bait. He worked and worked getting this thing in. It got a bit hairy at times. Didn't know who would win the fight- my dad or the fish. It was tense yet at at the same time exciting. It made for a crazy story to retell for years to come. In the end my dad is the one that prevailed. He finally got that crazy fish to shore, and I have the picture to prove it...
Okay so it wasn't huge or gigantic or a whopper... but it was a fish. And he did catch it without any bait. It was crazy. All afternoon dad and I kept telling the story of the fish he caught and with each story it did get bigger. It had me so tickled.
The little fish was later released.
