New Country Strong Celebrity Crush.

*this was my regularly scheduled post for today...

This post is mostly about Garrett Hedlund and a little bit about the movie Country Strong.

I was first introduced to Garrett Hedlund back when he played Cracker Jack in the movie Four Brothers.

Who didn't cry when Cracker Jack got killed? I was at the theater crying like a baby.

After Four Brothers,  I didn't hear anything from Garrett (that I can recall) for quite some time.

However, just a couple of weeks ago Ryan and I rented TRON. I was reluctant but Ryan wanted to check it out. Alas, being the ever selfless wife that I am I went with it. It had nothing to do with the fact that what I wanted to rent was all checked out.

Well, much to my liking... good ole Cracker Jack was the main star of TRON. I was instantly glad we rented that one!

Then I came across this post over on I Hate Green Beans.

I had no idea until then that Cracker Jack/ TRON was a character in Country Strong!

But here's the thing... I may have had a tiny celebrity crush on Garrett Hedlund, but when I heard his voice in Country Strong it was all she wrote.

He plays a rough around the edges, guitar picking, country crooner with a heart of gold  in this movie and I fell in love.

I loved the movie too by the way. Good story. Heartbreaking and sweet at the same time. I teared up a little and then rejoiced.  I would definitely recommend watching it.

However,  at the end of the day I want to buy this movie just to watch Garrett Hedlund. I'm telling you right now, go watch this movie... if for nothing else let it be because you want to watch him!
