THE LAST RAGE Part II

After our night out on Friday, Saturday morning came rather early, however, we embraced it because Whitney had breakfast in the works. She prepared homemade blueberry and strawberry pancakes, homemade hash browns and the best breakfast casserole (it had grits in it)!

After enjoying such a great breakfast some of us hit the beach and some of us stayed back at the house. The weather wasn't the best beach weather on Saturday, but we were not to be defeated. Rain came in sometime around lunch so everyone made there way back up to the beach house.

After a quick spanking by the home owner's association (too many cars) we got down to business. It was time for the lingerie portion of the weekend. I was ready to open presents!!

Deidra had the cutest pantie line ready and each person brought a pair of panties for me. With each pair of panties given to me, the person giving them had to recite a poem that correlated with the theme of the panties.

Here's an excerpt from Lacey's poem...

Just kidding... her poem was too raunchy! However, to help you better understand- Brittany's poem had to do with me being the skipper since she's the captain of the SanPan each summer, Ali's theme was Car Quest (the fam business), Kaci's theme was Auburn since we were roomies at AU... so on and so forth.

Deidra had the coolest Tshirts made for the weekend. Katie Beth actually designed them! I thought they were great! We also all got a koozie that correlated with the theme of the weekend.

All the lingerie was beautiful. It's funny because if everyone had laid out the lingerie they were giving me I think I could have pretty much gone through and matched the outfit to the person giving it. I just know these girls that well...

After the naughty little party we decided to brave the elements for a walk on the beach, while rocking our Tshirts!

It was super windy! But we had a fun photo shoot...

which ended with me in the ocean. I was going for the whole sexy beach thing.

After frolicking around on the beach for a bit... it was time to get ready for the another night on the town.

The theme for Saturday night was for everyone to dress in black and I would be decked out in white. We hit up Harbor Docks for dinner.

***side note: if you were the couple that got seated next to our table at Harbor Docks, and you're reading this- We owe you an apology. Sorry we ruined your dinner date. thanks.***

After dinner it was time to RAGE!! "SHOT SHOT SHOT SHOT" *FIST PUMP*

We called a cab and headed to Baytowne. First on the agenda- RumRunners. I had a few "dares" to complete and was fully up for the challenge. I kissed a bald man on the head, I read a guys fortune, may have danced on a bar (but in a tasteful manner), sat on stage while a song about a camel and a taco was sang to me, and overall RAGED!

After Rum Runners, we headed to Village Door because we wanted to dance. So we did what any normal bachelorette party would do. We formed a circle and took turns dropping it in the middle. We all had some pretty sexy moves. Several guys tried to get in on the action, but we shot them down. If I'm not mistaken Bess would call them a Creeper and send them on their way.

After Village Door we took it on back to the beach house via the scariest cab ride known to man- but that could be a blog post on it's own.

Sunday morning we awoke to beautiful weather. The perfect day for the beach.

Overall the weekend was more than I could have asked for. My best friends made a huge effort to not only be there, but to make it a weekend I will never forget. They raged with me because that's what friends do! We had sore arms from Fist Pumping and that's cool because my final "girls weekend" as a "single" girl will go down in the books as one of the best ever.

I keep looking back at the pictures and find myself laughing out loud. I couldn't possibly write a couple of blog posts that could fully embody the fun that was had by all this past weekend. Deidra worked her butt off to make sure it was perfect for me and we'll have the memories for a lifetime.

So on this Thursday morning, raise whatever glass you may have near- because "Here's to my friends and the warm feeling I have for them!!!"

THE LAST RAGE Part I

Over the past weekend thirteen girls gathered in one bad ass beach house in honor of my last rage, as it was my Bachelorette Bash in Destin, FL.

I have attempted to make these two post as G rated as possible, however it was tough because it was one wild weekend. Some of the events that took place in Destin will not be known to the blog world or Facebook... it was the weekend of "shhhh, don't tale"

Deidra, my Maid of Honor, planned and executed one narley weekend. Friends came from miles around. Some ventured from Birmingham, others from Auburn and some from my hometown. We arrived Friday afternoon with our game faces on. I had no idea what to expect of the weekend, as I had been kept in the dark about most of the plans. The only thing I knew for sure is that if this was my last rage I wanted to go out with a bang!

Once everyone arrived at the beach house I got to open a goody bag filled with all sorts of bachelorette nonsense. Items included the narley head band that I rocked all weekend, the bachlorette sash, and little naughty straws... the typical requirements of a good bach bash!

After a quick dinner in, it was time to get ready for the events of the night. Like I stated previously- I had no idea what was about to go down. The only thing I knew is that I wasn't supposed to have packed an outfit for Friday night, as it would be provided for me.

As everyone got ready I was blindfolded...

...waiting with anticipation to see what the theme of the evening would be. When I opened my eyes what did I discover?

(please don't be scared of Peter in the right corner of the above picture. He tags along on all bach weekends)

All the ladies would be rocking crazy bridesmaids dresses from years past. I'm talking puffy sleeves and all.

This could only mean one thing for me-- I would rock the sexiest long sleeve turtleneck wedding dress anyone had ever seen- and with pride I might add.

We had a quick bridal shoot of me in the dress and then snapped some pictures as we waited for the taxi to scoop us up.

We must have been really loud because someone called in a "noise complaint" and a police officer showed up!! I was scared because he "arrested" me.

It was weird because he is the only police officer I've ever met who shows up for a noise complaint with a boom box.... GIRL YOU KNOW I, I, I, .....

After we settled matters with Officer Vincent, we hit up AJ's for a night of wild dancing- (and yes, we did indeed hit the town in our narley wedding garb).

However, fear not- we didn't get too rowdy, as Ryan was ever present throughout the weekend. He was there to keep an eye us....

Stop by tomorrow for Part II of the most rad last rage ever to go down...

I don't get it...

Two celebrity couples that I just don't understand are:

#1- Bradley Cooper and Rene Zellweger
I mean, come on, Bradley, you could do so much better. I'm just sayin' Look at him- he's hot, rene is not.  What kind of hair cut is she rocking? Let's hope it's for a role.

#2- LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian

I realize that Eddie Cibrian is not a big time star (he used to be on Third Watch and he does an occasional Lifetime Movie), so he probably thinks he is doing big things by dating LeAnn Rimes. However, he is way out of her league.

Just in case you can't get the full effect of Eddie's tall, dark hottness... here's a closer look:

LeAnn may have belted out Patti Loveless's Blue when she was only 14-years-old, but that does not qualify her to date this handsome man. Not in my book anyway.

Just tosssing it out there.

O.T.W.

My weekends are consumed with wedding parties and planning. Blah, blah, blah.... but over the past weekend the party was for Ryan (and me too)!

We had a tool and garden party courtesy of my cousins on my mom's side. It was an intimate party, as I only invited a few of our closest friends from my hometown.

Ryan's brother- Clay, Ryan, and Ryan's cousin- Daniel. You can so tell they are kinfolks.

The couple of the hour. We were about to embark on a journey of gift opening. (p.s. ryan's handsome)

We couldn't imagine what this gift would be...
Was it a gun? Why in the world would someone give us a huge gun at the garden and tool party?

Or was it a HUGE whistle???

Oh, it was actually hedge trimmers. Who would have thought?

A little bit of the audience.

Since it was a garden and tool party it only seemed right for my bridesmaids to make me look like a flower!!

And NO party would be a wedding party or shower without this kid:

And a picture with the lovely hostesses...

The party was a lot of fun. Ryan and I got some really cool items for the yard and home. Now, we just need to hit up Home Depot and spend some gift cards!

All pictures courtesy of this kid:
Ryan's sister, Ali. She's the wedding historian.

A New Resident

Ryan and I have a new roommate (well mostly Ryan right now). Sweet Maggie has decided to live with us.  I tried to make her pose for a few pictures, but she wasn't really feeling it.  Here are a couple I was able to snap...

With her long hair we've decided she looks a little bit like an old hippie. I've been calling her Maggie Rainbow, because that's a fitting name for an old hippie (in my opinion). She's getting a hair cut next week so I will be sure to update with photos.

O.T.W

Over the weekend I not only celebrated Easter with my family, but I also had my bridal portraits taken. It was so much fun to get fully dressed and just have pictures taken without all the stress that comes with the actual wedding weekend (or what I can only assume will be somewhat stressful).

I'm not going to show any of the actual pictures, but I will show you this creation the Deidra and Mom came up with:

As I was trying to focus on the photographer and make serious, sexy faces- Deidra and Mom were putting together this collage. The flowers are hydrangeas (main flower for wedding), my blue "dancing" shoes (for the reception), a clock which reads 5:00pm (time of the wedding) and my veil (just because).

The bridal portraits were so much fun. I loved getting all dressed up and actually seeing the "whole look" come together. Ryan's mom, my mom, Deidra and Hillary were all so helpful and I can NOT wait to see how they all turn out.

And as for you- well, you will have to just wait to see it all come together on May 15, 2010!!
